Smelt iron ore to iron bars, combine 2 iron bars to 1 large iron bar, craft a 2 handed sword. also keep a BS/CR belt, shoulders, other items to get them over 5) (assumes crafting 5+, obtained by getting a level 1 hireling in the end of time and boosting crafting to 5, and another boosting blacksmith to 5, until you can have 5 on both.
I'd like to hear from others what you use/craft as well, there are probably others I am missing. There are some items that are strong for crafting, worthwhile through the whole game.
